ฆ้อง เป็นเครื่องดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องตี มีหลายขนาดและประเภท บางชนิดเป็นเพียงเครื่องตีให้สัญญาณ เช่น ฆ้องกระแต ใช้ตีบอกสัญญาณเข้าเวรยาม, ฆ้องชัย ใช้ตีบอกสัญญาณในกองทัพสมัยโบราณ เป็นต้น บางท้องถิ่นเรียกว่า โหม่ง

ปัจจุบัน ฆ้องถูกนำไปใช้ร่วมกับพิธีกรรมต่างๆ โดยนิยมซื้อไปถวายวัด เพราะเชื่อกันว่าจะ ทำให้มีชื่อเสียงโด่งดัง ปัจจุบัน แหล่งผลิต ฆ้องของประเทศไทย อยู่ที่บ้านทรายมูล ตำบลทรายมูล อำเภอพิบูลมังสาหาร จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี มีมากมายหลายขนาด จัดเป็นสินค้าโอทอป ของตำบล โดย ฆ้อง จะมีโฉลก แบ่ง ตามความเชื่อของชาวอิสาน
