ชมพู่หวานกรอบที่มีรสชาติถูกปาก ดูเหมือนจะเป็นแรงดึงดูดทำให้เหล่านักชิมทั้งหลายหันมาบริโภคชมพู่กันมากขึ้น แถมปัจจุบันชมพู่ก็มีให้เลือกกินหลายพันธุ์ เช่น เพชรน้ำผึ้ง มะเหมี่ยว หรือแก้มแหม่ม ก็อร่อยถูกปากกันทั้งนั้น
 
         วิตามินในชมพู่ก็มีอยู่มากอย่างวิตามิน C ก็ช่วยในการฟื้นไข้และรักษาโรคหวัดนั่นเอง
 
         ส่วนจุดเด่นของผลไม้รสดีชนิดนี้อยู่ตรงที่ ชมพู่เป็นผลไม้ที่ให้พลังงานต่ำ แต่ทำให้อิ่ม และหนักท้องเมื่อกินมากๆ ชมพู่ไม่ทำให้อ้วนอย่างแน่นอน ดังนั้นจึงเป็นอาหารในการควบคุมน้ำหนักได้เป็นอย่างดี
 
         ส่วนน้ำที่มีอยู่มากในชมพู่ก็ทำให้ผิวพรรณเปล่งปลั่ง และคุณเองก็รู้สึกสดชื่นอยู่เสมอ จึงนับว่าเป็นผลดีอีกชนิดที่ไม่ควรพลาด
